Charming Wedding with an Ethereal Color Palette

If simple elegance and a soft, ethereal wedding color palette is your thing, you are sure to fall in love with Jenny and Michael’s wedding. The couple tied the knot in a simple ceremony on our outdoor patio, surrounded by their closest loved ones. We’re quite obsessed with Jenny’s bridal look, as she looked timeless in her beaded wedding dress. We are especially smitten with the color palette chosen for this mountain wedding: lilac and light blue with a foundation of soft cream. Get ready to swoon over the perfect photographs Michelle Lea Photographie captured of this couple’s magical day!

Ethereal Color Palette

2020 brought back a wedding trend that we love — timeless, contemporary weddings. Soft color palettes highlight this wedding theme. Lilac, pinks, and corals are now key colors, but not like they were in the past. Instead, these colors are toned down and are much softer, providing a sophisticated feel.

Lilac Wedding Color

Pale purple hues are still trendy. The use of alternating shades in the bridesmaid’s dresses was a big hit in our book. The use of alternating purple tones created a multidimensional color palette. The result: a pastel rainbow of purple that was refreshing and fun! We think we need all the uplifting vibes in this post-COVID society.

Light Blue Wedding Color

Blue is a staple wedding color. It’s a classic color that many couples can use for either a casual wedding or a traditional wedding. Some wedding couples use dark blue hues, like navy and sapphire. Other wedding couples use blue as a more ethereal aesthetic, such as periwinkle, powder blue, or dusty blue. We see it as an accent color in the bouquets that perfectly pairs with the groom and groomsmen’s blue suits in this wedding. For blue, you can go beyond the bouquet and suits. Use blue wedding colors in plates, glassware, and wedding signs.

No matter what colors you choose for your wedding day, please consider our mountain wedding venue as your forever wedding home. If you are interested in an ethereal color palette, or something more striking, we can help make your wedding dreams a reality.
