June 16, 2025
It was the kind of June day couples dream about: clear skies, fresh air, and a view that stretched endlessly across the Smoky Mountains. For Paige and Federico, who traveled from Florida to say “I do,” The Magnolia Venue delivered everything they hoped for in a summer destination wedding. Their celebration was filled with natural beauty, thoughtful details, and a seamless experience from start to finish.
Together for nine years before getting engaged, Paige and Federico’s love story began at a Halloween party. She dressed as a deer, he as a soccer player. Their wedding, held on Saturday, June 16, 2025, reflected their vibrant personalities and heartfelt connection. Every element felt stylish, intentional, and deeply personal.
The day began with a perfectly curated flatlay: ivory heels embroidered with delicate floral appliqué, heirloom jewelry tucked in a soft blue velvet ring box, a minimalist set of white vow books, and a custom invitation suite printed with floral illustrations. Their stationery featured engraved magnolia flower details that mirrored the real blooms used throughout the celebration—setting a soft, romantic tone from the very beginning. While the dress code was clearly formal, the atmosphere remained relaxed and welcoming.
The Magnolia’s bridal suite offered the perfect mix of luxury and comfort. The ladies got ready together, basking in the wedding vibes and soaking in every joyful moment of the morning. Paige styled her bridesmaids in chic blue-and-white floral dresses. Her gown, a stunning strapless mermaid, featured a row of buttons down the train. Complemented by sheer gloves, a floral headpiece, and delicate earrings—all echoing the wedding’s floral motif.
Meanwhile, Federico and his groomsmen prepared in style. His deep navy suit paired with a crisp white bowtie felt both classic and fresh. A quick YouTube tutorial helped the groomsmen get their bowties just right—because even the most stylish crews need backup sometimes. After a round of celebratory toasts, the groomsmen stepped out ready for the day.
Just before the ceremony, Paige and Federico shared a private first look on the edge of The Magnolia venue’s Smoky Mountain overlook. Federico, clearly emotional, placed his hand to his mouth as he turned to see his bride. His reaction—raw, real, and full of love—was a moment neither will forget. Captured beautifully by photographer Aislinn Kate, the moment felt cinematic yet deeply personal. Choosing to share this quiet time together helped calm nerves and allowed the couple to soak in the significance of the day before the festivities began.
Soon after, guests were shuttled to the ceremony patio, where vibrant florals and asymmetrical arches framed the panoramic view. After snapping a few Polaroids, guests found their seats. Paige, radiant as ever, walked down the aisle on her father’s arm, holding a bouquet that embodied a summer garden. She wore her veil over her face—a traditional touch in a modern ceremony. Federico then gently lifted it before exchanging vows. Perhaps one of the most touching moments of the ceremony was the butterfly release, symbolizing the couple’s love taking flight into this next chapter of life.
Following the ceremony, guests mingled on the patio with drinks in hand courtesy of Single Barrel Events. Thoughtful details popped up everywhere: napkins printed with fun facts about the couple, childhood-photo cocktail stir sticks, and signage that felt modern yet personal. One napkin read: “Federico let Paige keep the Christmas tree up for a whole year because it made her happy”— if that’s not love, what is? With the Smokies as a backdrop and Single Barrel Events bartending, you know this one was a hit!
As the sun sank over the Smokies, Paige and Federico slipped away for portraits on The Magnolia venue’s private Knoll—a wooded walkway where sunlight filters through the trees. Both were draped in Paige’s veil, making for the most romantic and jaw-dropping images. Then, butterflies made their second appearance and brought whimsy to their golden hour portraits. The couple’s joy was infectious—Paige even had a butterfly linger on her wedding gown! The Magnolia’s many photo-friendly spaces make it the ideal Destination Wedding Venue, offering stunning natural backdrops without ever needing to leave the property.
As the evening approached, guests made their way into the Grand Hall. Inside, a three-tiered cake stood proudly, wrapped in lush florals. The tablescapes were just as chic: translucent blue goblets, white scalloped plates, and custom menus—all paired with modern gold flatware. A sprig of delphinium adorned each setting—an unexpected but charming addition of “something blue.”
Bride and groom dined at their own personal sweetheart table, a farmhouse table rented from The Magnolia Shop. They sat positioned beneath repurposed ceremony floral arches—a clever, sustainable touch. Floral-etched coupe glasses sparkled as guests toasted and the celebration continued. The entire reception design felt airy and full of personal flair.
The celebration quickly turned into a full-on dance party, with glow sticks in one hand and drinks in the other! Guests of all ages—from the couple’s best friends to their joyful grandparents—hit the dance floor. Everyone donning bright blue leis. Blurred motion shots captured the energy of the night. The dance floor stayed packed, thanks to Ogle Entertainment. And of course, nobody could resist joining the conga line! As night fell over the Smoky Mountains, the couple made their grand exit down a glowing tunnel of flashing lights, beaming guests, and streamers.
