4 Tasks to Let Your Wedding Team Handle

July 27, 2020

Planning your wedding entails you investing a lot of time and energy into making it a success and anxiety often rears its ugly head. You might be worried if something will go wrong; if the decor will be fine or if your DJ might come in late; plus many more things you’ll stress over.

Fortunately, you have the option to delegate some of the tasks to family members and friends because you won’t be able to do all of these on your own! We have put together 4 tasks that you should let your others handle while you focus on other aspects of the wedding.

  • Packing Invitation

One of the first jobs you will need to handle at your wedding is packing invitations, and you can’t handle this one alone. You will need a lot of people in your team to do this especially if you have a long guest list. And the good news about packing an invitation is that you don’t need to supervise. While invitations for the wedding are being sorted you can set up a meeting with the caterer or just spend quality time with your partner.

  • Tracking RSVPs

Every wedding has an RSVP list. You don’t want to sit around checking if your RSVPs are around or being properly tended to. Delegate this job to one of your friends or a few of them to ascertain your guests have a great time. Ask your pals to organize the seats alphabetically or you make a list of friends you trust and let them handle all the arrangements.

  • Welcome bags

Welcome bags and gifts are a must for your wedding guests. There is a good chance you won’t be available to deliver welcome bags or gifts by yourself so secure the assistance of others. Give one of your friends a list of hotel addresses with room numbers and names to drop them off on your behalf. PS: You should also consider getting a car to help the person complete the task easily.

  • Help the photographer

Don’t assume that your photographer knows all that’s expected of him. The photographer might not recognize your mother-in-law or have a tough time rounding up your friends and guests for shoots. Ask one of your wedding team members to assist in directing the photographer and help usher guests towards a photo session.
